Stormwater Management Plans & Flood Impact Assessments

Stormwater management is a common requirement imposed by local Councils and State Government regulatory agencies for both small and large scale development sites.

Empire Engineering has extensive experience in drainage investigations and the preparation of Stormwater Management Plan Reports and Flood Impact Assessment Reports to satisfy regulatory requirements.

Stormwater Management Plan Reports and Flood Impact Assessment Reports present the results of modelling and document a conceptual framework of measures to be adopted in relation to both stormwater quality management and stormwater quantity management for a proposed development.

We utilise industry recognised computer software such as:

• Model for Urban Stormwater Improvement Conceptualisation (MUSIC) to suitably size stormwater quality improvement devices; and
• XP Storm to size trunk flow paths and drainage structures for the relevant Annual Exceedance Probability (AEP) storm events and to assist in the flood assessment of the site and adjoining properties.
